Hi Mom,

I'm in Nairobi! I just got here about four hours ago.

This place is amazingly well-developed - a far cry from Ethiopia. Nairobi has a feel like Chicago, especially in the city center.

I had a nice time in Ethiopia, but not without some stress.

Yes, I'm traveling alone again. Don't worry, I'm usually on the ball, especially with my belongings. I'll meet up with Damien Tanzania in a few days.

To be very honest, I'm ready to come home. Traveling lately has been pretty rough, not too relaxing. I'm ready to go to Milwaukee and veg out, if you don't mind. I don't plan on staying in Europe longer than one week, probably less. It depends when I can get a plane ticket. I'll be in France on the 18th of August.

I'd like to be home before the end of September, that is to say, before my birthday.

Hopefully I'll be doing a (not so stressful) safari in less than a week. I'll contact you again when I get to Tanzania.
