Conakry, Guinea, West Africa

Hi Mom,

I'm here in Conakry for the end of service conference.  How are you doing? It was nice talking to you.

I'm going to Casa Island for the conference so I won't have access to a telephone after tomorrow at 4 pm.

Yesterday was the 2nd Memorial March (in memory of Jesse and Justin's deaths, also for increased awareness about traffic problems in Guinea).

I was the main organizer, it was a pretty big job. I was interviewed by the Guinean National Press (TV), should be on TV today or tomorrow. I was a bit stressed, but a lot of people said they were happy with the March. I'll have some photos to show you when I get back.

Keep in touch and say hi to all of the family.

Love Mike
